‘ Landscapes of Mackinac’ Is Show Theme

The picturesque scenery of Mackinac Island, from downtown to the bluffs and woods, will be featured during the 2018 juried exhibition, “Landscapes of Mackinac,” at the Richard and Jane Manoogian Mackinac Art Museum. The art show is hosted by Mackinac State Historic Parks.

All forms of artwork, including paint, photography, and sculpture, will be accepted from living artists at least 18-years-old.

Artists have until March 9, 2018 to submit photographs of up to three pieces for consideration. Works must be limited to 46 inches high or wide, including frame.

Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony June 20, 2018. First prize will receive $2,500, second prize will receive $1,000, and third prize is $750. Three honorable mentions will receive $250 each.
